Golden Milk
Serves 1
INGREDIENTS
1 cup /250ml plant milk: oat, coconut, hemp milk etc.
¼ cup/60ml of water
½ tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground turmeric or 5-10 thin slices of fresh turmeric root
⅛ tsp ground cardamom or 2-3 cardamom pods, cracked
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated or ½ tsp ground ginger
Pinch of ground nutmeg
Pinch of ground black pepper
Optional
1 tsp raw local honey to sweeten
1 tsp organic coconut oil
1 tsp Ashwagandha powder
HOW TO:
Add the plant milk, water, spices to a small pot and season and whisk together.
Bring to a boil and then reduce heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Remove from heat.
Allow to cool a little and then add honey, if using.
Enjoy!
